What do you wish you would have done more of? random road trips

What was your favorite new TV program? Movie? Album/Songs? Or if you didn't pick up any new ones, what are you still watching/listening to? Any recommendations? I loved Ted Lasso, Where The Crawdads Sing, and I listened to a LOT of Fleetwood Mac
What did you do on your birthday and how old were you? Did you feel differently? I turned 57 and I don't feel differently--I did go out to dinner with my parents
What political or social issue stirred you the most? the Roe v Wade "decision"
Who was the most interesting new person you met? I have great groups of students this year
What changed at your job? a new principal, a new schedule--the basics changed
What changed in your home? not much
Describe how a relationship changed. my sisters and I are closer than ever
Do you think you are still the same person that you were at the beginning of the year? How so? I think I've changed for the better, I don't think I'm as serious about myself

I think shitshow and FUBAR are both very appropriate for 2022.
The spontaneous road trip idea appeals to me. My version would be to show up at Union Station and just get on a train. Spend the day in a town I've never been in before. Maybe now that I'm retired, I'll do it!
Random road trips - that sounds like it would be fun.
And yes - shitshow is a great word to use for 2022.
