Ten things going on right now:
1) There is so much illness at school that Maine's CDC is monitoring. We may have to shut down for a few days.
2) I am worried that I will get sick. I've been exposed to Covid, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
3) I do not want to have to spend Christmas in quarantine again.
4) Although it is quite different than my beloved book series, Three Pines is well done. I'm enjoying how the stories are interpreted.
5) My plan for Sociology class includes showing them the movie Elf so they can analyze how Buddy is socialized and also the social norms that Buddy doesn't follow. Should be fun!
6) My plan for AP US History class includes showing them Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (the claymation one) so they can analyze the Burgermeister and apply the Bill of Rights provisions that the Burgermeister is infringing on.
7) My plan for AP Psychology class includes showing them How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the original cartoon) so they can apply theories we have studied to his behaviors.
8) I expected to have more fun with my Secret Santa than I'm having. Tomorrow is a snowman mug with a variety of hot cocoas.
9) I have a lymphatic massage tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it because for some reason tonight I'm having a bad case of Restless Legs. So uncomfortable.
10) I think I'll have an early night--I've been sleeping well but have had a hard time getting up in the morning.
