Thing one:  Today was a very laid-back holiday.  We gathered for an evening meal, breaking every family tradition I've ever known.

Thing two:  I am so thankful for the laughter with my family.  I know we are obnoxious.

Thing three:   It wasn't just a plate of whipped cream, there was pumpkin pie.
