Thing one:  One thing I've learned is that high school students prefer teachers who love what they're teaching--and they can tell when teachers fake it.

Thing two:  The second thing I've learned is that high school students love to celebrate their successes as well as their teachers' successes.

Thing three:  The third thing I've learned is that a little laughter goes a long way in changing the atmosphere of a classroom.
