It’s completely shocking that men kept us down for so $*%& long! They didn’t fear that we could raise an army and come for them in their ivory towers, did they? We are totally awake now.

HRC was absolutely right: Women's rights are human rights!

Lucille Ball was a more accomplished and serious woman than many people realize. She believed she got it all done by reminding herself it was OK to take care of herself. She used to tape notes on her desk, on her makeup mirror and in her car (this was the 1950s and 1960s, before post its) that said: Is this good for Lucille? Maybe we should all do something like that. Sometimes, when we're busy doing, we can lose ourselves.
