WHAT...Rain changing to mixed precipitation and then snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches, sleet accumulations of around one half to three quarters of an inch and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch expected. The higher snow totals will be north of Caribou to Van Buren. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
WHERE...Northeast Aroostook, Northern Somerset and Northern Piscataquis Counties.
WHEN...From midnight tonight to noon EST Friday.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Power outages are possible.
