Thing one: Two of my brothers-in-law are veterans. They met my sisters when they were stationed at the nearby air base.
Thing two: I have six former students, recent graduates, who are military members.
Thing three: I am grateful to the men and women who have provided safeguards to the privileges I take for granted.
