Summer
1. What subjects lead you down a Wikipedia rabbit hole? word origins
2. How do you like to spend your birthdays? celebrating--there must be cake!
3. Something you might take a little too seriously? alone time
4. Describe a time you made a good decision for yourself. I decided to leave a gathering early
5. Something you’ve improved/gotten better at. setting boundaries at school--especially saying no to being voluntold
6. What dish would you bring to a summer potluck? potato chips

8. Share a summer memory. I had a great girlfriend getaway in late July
9. Words you misspell or misuse the most. I misspell judgment, acknowledge, pronounce and I have to check myself on navigation

13. What are your favorite features of your cell phone? the convenience of having clock features (timer, stopwatch, alarm) and a camera, and being able to look things up on the fly, GPS

My grands went back to school this week. Everyone in the public school system has to wear a mask. They are happy to be back at school. I am going on a girls get away in September.
I love the smell of baking bread.

Botetourt schools started this year. The school board meeting Thursday was a clusterfuck with parents screaming about masks & CRT, which isn't even taught here but for some reason they think it is. I am glad I am in a personal lockdown and staying away from people.
