Self-care

  1. What have you done lately for improving or maintaining your mental health? What more would you like to do? I started therapy again, through TalkSpace--and my therapist, Lori, is a fantastic fit for me: she really gets me
  2. When did you last eat something specifically because it was good for you? last weekend I specifically made a salad to eat something healthy
  3. These days, what are you learning about, and what would you like to learn about next? I've been reading up on some Sociology theories so I can create activities for my students--I'm trying to keep them engaged even though they are mostly distance learning
  4. What’s positive about your physical appearance lately? I've enjoyed my hair lately, I feel like I've had several good hair days this week--and we got to wear jeans all week (which is a HUGE deal for my school) and I was "on point" with my outfits (according to my students)
  5. What will you do this weekend to bring joy into your life and a smile to someone else? tomorrow will be a get together with my Breakfast Club girlfriends--even though we're still not going out for breakfast but the name stands--and it will be so good to see them
