blog every day 3

 3. What is a common misconception people have about you?  What do you wish they knew? I have always been a matter of fact speaker so people frequently think I have "all the answers" when I don't even pretend to.  It was first brought to my attention when I was in a public speaking class in high school.  We were doing some impromptu, extemporaneous speeches about random items in a Sears catalog and my classmates were convinced that I knew what my topic was in advance because I was so matter of fact about it instead of looking like I was making it up.  I wish people knew that I can't change my manner of speaking.

Funny I had that same issue in College Speech, the older I get I find myself speaking more matter of fact, and seem to be speaking my mind more, I always ask God to please put one hand over my shoulder and the other over my mouth. Hope you have a great week

Why should you change your manner of speaking? It sounds like an asset! I bet you'd be terrific at improvisation.
