Santa Baby (1987)
1) In this song, Madonna refers to Santa as "baby," "honey" and "cutie." What's the most recent endearment someone called you? I think I was called "hun" the other day on the phone
2) At the top of her list are a fur coat, a new convertible and a yacht. If you could receive any of those luxury items, which would you choose? well... I guess a new convertible
3) She would like to decorate her tree with ornaments from Tiffany's. Do you have a favorite holiday ornament or decoration? my ceramic tree is my favorite decoration
4) "Santa Baby" was written in 1953, before electronic payments. While her wish list includes blank checks, a 2017 survey revealed that 51% of consumers felt check writing was "a pain." Who received the last check your wrote? Who most recently gave you a check? the bank was the last recipient of a check, I was getting cash. I received a reimbursement check from the school as the one I've most recently received.
5) Madonna has been a successful singer for decades, and 1985's "Into the Groove" is her top-seller. What's your favorite Madonna song? the older I get the more I love Madonna and I'm partial to Vogue and Like A Prayer
6) Madonna was born in Bay City, MI, and traveled to New York City to find fame and fortune. When she first arrived, she supported herself by working at Dunkin' Donuts. What's your standard DD order? almost daily: medium iced coffee with cream and liquid sugar
7) The only Christmas card Sam has received so far this year is from her dentist. Have you received many cards this year? nary a one
8) Will you wrap many presents? Or do you prefer to use gift bags? gift bags!
9) Madonna recorded "Santa Baby" to benefit The Special Olympics. Here's your chance to plug a cause or organization that's near and dear to you. I support local charities such as the homeless shelter by knitting hats, I support local veteran organizations by donating socks and money, I donate gently used but no longer needed towels and blankets to the animal shelter. But mostly I support the different classes and organizations at school by buying from all of their fundraisers. That is usually a few hundred dollars a year.

I love that you give those knitted items to the homeless! I imagine that it's an ongoing talisman, reminding them that they are cared for. And, as someone who used to volunteer at a shelter, those towels are important. (The dogs and cats don't care about tears and stains.)
School fundraisers...my two kids were very involved at school, I spent a fortune on fundraisers.
I remember when my great aunt handed me a bunch of crocheted lap blankets to take to the "old people" at the nursing home for her. She was about 85 herself. I dutifully hauled them to the nursing home every couple of months.
I LOVE that you knit hats for the homeless! What a great ministry that is and I am sure they appreciate it so much. I also have a ceramic Christmas tree my Grandma made. I love it. Loved your answers! Have a great weekend!

We seem to be a group who like convertibles, I found them hot in summer and cold in winter.
Oh, the veterans' organizations. Great idea. Why have I never thought of them at Christmas?
Love that you are also a knitter, and have found things to knit for others. Caps for Kids is one that I used to donate to, also. We can have a knit along, coast to coast. Special Olympics is a very good cause!
I’d take the convertible, too. 🤩 zoomie zoom!
I love how you knit hats and I did not know my old towels could go to animal shelter. I can only knit scarfs, but maybe I will make some for the homeless. I have plenty of black yard.
