Thing one: I have hired a local chef to make a chicken pot pie for my family's Thanksgiving meal. I am so excited I thought of doing this. No fuss, no muss for just three of us. We're all major pot pie fans, too.
Thing two: School is in remote mode for the next two weeks. There were two cases of COVID in the Tech Center. Contact tracing has alerted those who've come in close contact with the cases. I was not contacted so I feel secure. Plus, I don't leave my classroom and the only people who come in are my students. Sadly, no visits from former students anymore.
Thing three: I need to measure the blanket I'm knitting. I am pretty sure I have knit beyond the suggested measurements. But I want the blanket to be super snuggly for my bestie.

It must be really hard for you not to see former students--I know that's a joy of yours! The pot pie sounds amazing....hubs and I love it too!
Yum! Pot pie sounds like a wonderful solution to a small gathering and anything that frees you up to just enjoy the day is a great idea in my book.
