ten things tuesday

Ten Things I'm thinking about right now.

1) My colonoscopy pre-screening appointment is tomorrow.

2) My library book group is meeting virtually again this month (tomorrow).  For a couple of reasons: the room where we can spread out is filled with the Children's Library furniture due to the renovation.  And there's an outbreak of Covid in the area.  So, since I'm the de facto leader, I decided it was better to be safe than sorry.

3) I am teaching virtually tomorrow.  It's "Deep Cleaning Day" at school.  I actually feel good that they deep clean the building and it has time to settle.  Although I'm not a fan of distance teaching, one day a week is doable.

4) The grant I'm participating in is having a meeting tomorrow morning.  Between my classes, I'll have to Zoom in to that.

5) The time change is really messing with my system.  I keep waking up in the wee hours: bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

6) I am glad I was able to vote early.  I am also glad I was able to follow the trail my ballot went on, so I could see that it was accepted and ready to be counted today.

7) I am anxious about the election results.  Please let there be peace!

8) The necklace I wore had pearl-type beads in it.  For RBG.

9) I'm going to try to distract myself from the news.  I've been watching The Office (I know, I know, I'm late to the party) and have many seasons ahead of me.

10) Maybe I'll start a new audiobook tonight instead of watching The Office.  I have several on tap.

Colonoscopies are not fun but then, none of the screenings we endure are. You're doing the smart thing and when it's over, and you're looking at the pix of your innards, you'll be glad you did it.

Every time I catch a few minutes of The Office I like it and I keep meaning to watch it, but ... there is SO MUCH WATCHING TO DO!
