Loving: I had on comfortable shoes that did not make my sore ankle ache
Thinking: about the election--and trying not to stress too much--I saw this article at Carole's and it truly resonated. We likely will not know the results--here's an article from my Senator.
Feeling: uncertain yet vaguely hopeful
Celebrating: all of my students were in my Block 4 class today for the first time all year. The vibe was great and we had an interesting discussion about the Declaration of Independence (I introduced the idea to them as a break-up letter)
Grateful for: my Breakfast Club friends: I'm especially glad we'll be getting together this weekend
Weather: it is 29° and raining/snowing
Enjoying: my stash of peanut butter cups

"Uncertain and vaguely hopeful." That's me, too, this morning (it's Tuesday). I wasn't able to "over-election" Sunday or yesterday because I was slammed at worked, and that may have been a blessing.
