1. Tell us about a special piece of cookware, dinnerware, or kitchen item in your home that has sentimental value. I have a couple of my grandmother's and my mum's teacups that have sentimental value.
2. Is there one piece of jewelry you always wear that reminds you of someone or brings back a special memory? If so, tell us about it. I can't think of anything for jewelry
3. When you go out for a meal (yes, folks, those were the good 'ole days) do you make special requests having to do with food choices, extra condiments, seating arrangements, special instructions for how your food is cooked and the like? What are your special requests? my only special request might be something on the side--like sour cream for a baked potato or salad dressing because I usually go out with people who are very particular about where they sit, so it doesn't matter to me
4. What makes your home special to you and your family? well... I've lived here since 1995 and I still feel the same way about it as when I first saw it
5. We've had a lot of time to think up ways to make our lives more interesting while on lockdown. What do you do to make an otherwise ordinary day/night more special? In other words, what does your "special night" look like? getting lost in a good book/show so that I stay up later than I intended
6. You are waiting for an exciting special delivery! What's in the box? a present!
7. When is the last time you went on a special assignment? last school year I was part of a committee that was, unfortunately, a bust even though quite a bit of time was invested in it
8. If you were saving a bottle of wine for a special occasion, what would the occasion be and who would be in attendance? I have no idea--I don't save things for special occasions
9. What is the last "special report" or "breaking news report" you heard? an update on the First Family's coronavirus
10. Who or what in your life gets special treatment? I buy good yarn, that's the only thing I can think of--so gifts I knit are usually on the expensive side

I tried knitting and knit a few things, none of which were ever worn, so it's been 50 years or more since I tried knitting (now my small muscle movements are so bad it would not be good)
I don't care where I sit in restaurants, either. Although I always remember what I learned from the Corleone family -- never sit with your back to the door.
