  1. My uncle once... drove his antique truck in a parade and my sisters and I got to ride in it and toss candy to the parade-goers.

 2. Never in my life have I... wanted to have children of my own.

3. When I was five my parents... that's the year my mum died 

 4. High school was... a whirl of activities!  I was in many clubs and organizations!

 5. I will never forget to...  tell my parents I love them.

 6. Once I met 7... different classes in a day but now we've gone to block scheduling so I have four.

7. There’s this boy I know... who likes to hang out in my classroom and talk about books and movies, even though we don't like the same genres.

8. Once, at a bar, I... kissed a stranger.

9. By noon, I’m ...  thinking about finishing up the day and hoping I don't have meetings after school.

10. Last night I ... started listening to an audiobook that was hard to turn off--I would have listened all night!

  1. what was this good book?? I love that teens find good teachers to talk to during lunch... I did that, and had them come talk to me when I taught too... what a nice connection!

  2. Kwiz - I did not know that you lost your mother at such a tender age. I'm so sorry.

    Glad you're on the block schedule. Seven classes a day is a killer. Been there. I hope you are surviving this crazy school year.

  3. Lovely to have someone to discuss things with, especially young people with their fresh ideas.
    It seems I always get wrapped up in great books/videos late at night.. I am always sorry in the morning.

  5. What a thrill it must have been to ride in the parade and throw candy to the crowd! Aw...I didn't know you had lost your mom when you were so young. I hope you have some better memories of being 5 than that.
