We had an intense, poignant, and thoughtful book group meeting to discuss Just Mercy. We all struggled with parts of it--it's shocking and disheartening, but ultimately hopeful.
What I like about being in a book group is discussing books and the world of words. We had a great discussion about the context of the title in a couple of specific parts of the text where it shows up.

I'm glad you had a satisfying time with this book. I keep meaning to reach for it, but it all just feels too raw right now.
