So, yesterday I zoned out reading. I finished a really fun book and just didn't get around to posting a happy post. But my happy was zoning out reading.
And today's happy is that my dad asked if I would be available to chauffeur him to an upcoming medical appointment. I feel so blessed to be able to help my parents.

This is a great post. Sometimes I miss my mom so much, and I realize that my surgery of a decade ago was really a blessing because she stayed with me while I recuperated. I look back on that alone time with her so fondly.
