ten things tuesday

Ten things:

1)  My Dad is in the hospital and no one can visit him.  He was tested for COVID-19 but it is negative!!  He was in the ICU overnight but is being moved out t his afternoon.  NO ONE CAN VISIT HIM! 😢

2)  I made a pan of Trader Joe's Blondie Bars and somehow or other, they disappeared.  They were some kinda good.

3)  Graduation is Sunday and I was invited to join a group of teachers to (socially distance) greet the graduates and their families.

4)  My principal is taking a different position in the district and I am going to miss him terribly.  He has been the best administrator I've ever worked with.  I'm going to write him a note to let him know how much I appreciated his work and the opportunities he's encouraged me to pursue.

5)  A week ago it was in the mid-80s and today it is upper-50s.  What a crazy difference!

6)  I cannot wait to get my new laptop!  My current computer must know something's up because it's really, really slow.

7)  Yikes!  I almost forgot my book group meets tomorrow!  I need to set up the Zoom room.

8)  I've got an old school chum who wears the same size as me and I'm purging my closets and giving all of the clothes to her.  So far it's three laundry baskets but I've got more.  Purge, baby, purge!

9)  I've been texting with my "away" sisters all day.  I miss them so much.

10) I'm trying to get used to the new Blogger.  It's weird.  I don't like change.

Hope Dad is out of the hospital soon, thinking of you both.

Oh, Kwiz! Prayers for your dad. (But I'm confident the hospital is where he should be.)

I'm sorry to hear about your principal. I think we've all had enough change for a while!

I've probably attended 25 zoom meetings since the pandemic started, but I've never set up a room (and I don't wanna). The new blogger is enough for me. (Again, enough with the change.)

I reverted back to the old blogger. Can't get at the html the new way, I hate it. Won't be using it.
Praying for your dad. (((HUGS)))
