ten things tuesday

Ten random things:

1) It is currently 84° --this is NOT a complaint! This is a shock!

2) Tomorrow I have an OT appointment at the actual clinic. In-person. I think it's going to be a monthly date.

3) I have a colleague who's been using me as a sounding board. We're very, very different types of people. Sometimes I have a hard time talking her down. I feel bad for her. I've been in a position where school stress made me overwhelmed and emotional. I try to offer what I've learned through my years of therapy. It's NOT personal.

4) I was approved to be a Reader for the Advanced Placement exams! I've got to fill out the paperwork and find out how it's going to work this year. I've wanted to be a Reader for a while, I've always been good at scoring. Plus, a little pocket money!

5) My kitchen sink is dripping. 😮 I will YouTube a solution and attempt to fix it myself.

6) I filled three laundry baskets with clothes and donated them to a friend. I have more to give. I sincerely have too many clothes, still.

7) Speaking of clothing, with my compression garments I find wearing dresses is rather comfortable.

8) And speaking of my compression garments--I'm using the pneumatic pump at least 5 or 6 times per week and wearing the stockings 4 or 5. I'm trying to be consistent.

9) I might take a little nap this afternoon.

10) Because I went on a hike this morning! On purpose! In the woods! It was a mile loop at the local outdoor recreation facility. A great way to start the day (except for the flies). And out of my comfort zone. #Evolve

Since quarantine, I've been to the dentist and the dermatologist. I have appointments with my eye doctor and new internist, too. I used to resent the time check ups take. But now, I appreciate the normalcy.

Good for you, getting out (on purpose) in the nice weather.
