How does comparing yourself to others make you feel?

I don't like that I compare myself to others, so I feel bad about that. But I'm human, so I do it anyhow.

My oldest friend's shrink always warns her: COMPARE AND DESPAIR. Wise words. I don't always heed them, of course, but I recognize the wisdom.
