Thing one: Today I am grateful that my students think I'm creative and innovative--that class is "never boring."

Thing two: Today I am grateful that I was approved for a personal day in December. It was kind of iffy because it's the day after Thanksgiving weekend but I want to go to a celebration of life for my friend's husband--it will mean a lot to me to be there for her.

Thing three: Today I am grateful for a very kind landlord who maintains this apartment house well. It's safe and warm.
