1. What's the coldest temp you've experienced? school was canceled when we had temperatures colder than -50 with the wind chill, it was too dangerous for the kids to wait outside for their busses

4. What was your favorite subject in high school? hmmm, I really enjoyed my sophomore year--I had great teachers--my favorite was probably my biology class

Wow...,.do you live in Alaska? It was -51 when my friend moved there. Before that she had only lived in California--what a shock it was for her.
That's a pretty award. I'm such a clutz, I'd be worried about breaking it.
I can't even imagine -50. I thought -9 was bad enough.
-50 is the kill zone. Gad! I hope it's a better year, temperature wise.
Almost all of my High school science classes were before the great big surprise of Sputnik. Then, science started to really be a big deal and the classes got quite a lot better.
