So Into You

1) The singer says that he noticed the lady in question as soon as she walked into the room. Tell us about someone who made a powerful first impression on you. Dad's cardiologist yesterday--she was phenomenal

2) He sings that he's so into her, he can't think about other, more mundane things. Do you find you get easily distracted from your daily tasks? Or do you enjoy seeing your everyday chores through completion? I like getting routine things done

3) The band took their name from Georgia's biggest city. Have you ever been to Atlanta? I have not

4) The Atlanta Rhythm Section once played the White House. President Carter's son, Chip, was a big fan and invited them to play at his 28th birthday party. How did you celebrate your last birthday? I traveled to Central Maine for a workshop

5) Studio One, where the band made all their recordings, was torn down and replaced by a parking lot. Can you think of a structure that you missed, after it met with a wrecking ball? the community rec center (from my childhood) was torn down to expand a car dealership

6) This song hit #7 on the US pop charts. 7 is the number most often chosen as "a lucky number." How about you? Do you have a lucky number? my lucky number is 3

7) Today the Atlanta Rhythm Section reunites with to play at classic rock concerts. What oldies band would you love to see again? I've always wanted to see The Police

8) In 1977, the star of NBC's Chico and the Man, Freddie Prinze, took his own life. Is there a celebrity death you found shocking? I know it's been a very long time, but I'm still not over Princess Diana's death--she felt like a friend and I greatly admired her

9) Random question: What word do you always misspell? acknowledge, judgment, and I have to talk myself through navigation

I said Diana, too. Everything about that was shocking.

So glad you like Dad's doc.

The senior center in town is the old elementary school I attended.

When I saw "The Gal's"comment... hun? what? what did she write about me? Then I saw it was about Princess Diana

Princess Diana was so shocking! I kept the paper from that day, I am not sure that I still have it any more though. I was so sad. Loved your answers! Have a nice weekend!

There are a lot of routine things that need doing around here...would you like to come enjoy them? LOL
I'm always shocked when they mention something on the TV about how long it's been since Diana's death. It seems like yesterday. It makes me angry that she had such a crappy marriage and then was cheated out of seeing her boys grow up and knowing her grandchildren. She'd have been quite a grandma!

I started to say Diana as well but went with a more current one. My mother was so upset over Diana's death, more so than I ever thought I'd see her be over someone she didn't know.
