happy day 9

8/9:
I worked in my classroom today. Well, maybe calling it work is a bit of a stretch--I moved piles of supplies and paper and things from one area to another area. But I mentally organized a lot and that counts. Plus, I decided what I'm going to do for the first day.

Then we had a department lunch. It was nice to welcome the new teacher, he's going to be a great fit! I feel as though I've known him forever.
