8/1: I am so happy I was able to run errands for my parents. Since Dad got out of the hospital yesterday, he's still feeling a bit weak and it's nice to know I could help out by hauling the garbage cans and getting groceries. The clerk at the supermarket knew I wasn't buying groceries for myself because I didn't have my fabric bags and I NEVER buy some of the things I picked up for them--it was funny.
