Ten reasons why I'm happy now:
1) Dad's final radiation treatment is Friday--we've planned a family gathering to celebrate. He's doing well, has had no side-effects at all. You wouldn't know there is anything wrong with him.
2) Christmas was filled with a lot of laughter. I keep remembering all the witty things we said and smiling to myself.
3) I don't have to go anywhere today. I went out for my daily coffee, and it's practically whiteout conditions around town! So, I'm staying home.
4) I couldn't sleep last night, I was up from 2-4:30; I got to sleep in this morning! I feel rested.
5) I have a cute outfit on, even though no one's going to see it.
6) I've been chatting with/texting my bestie and sisters all day.
7) I have leftovers from the lasagna I made for Christmas dinner.
8) I will finish the hat I'm knitting for Ally, my manicurist. We were admiring another client's ponytail hat--I said I could make it, and asked if she'd like one, so it's on the needles!
9) I'm working on setting goals for 2018: choosing a theme word and a reading goal. Perhaps a resolution, too!
10) I got very thoughtful gifts--and everyone seems really pleased with the gifts I gave.

Your dad's last treatment definitely deserves a big celebration! I'm so glad for him and all of you that he's done so well with it.
Isn't the lift you get from a "perfect" outfit awesome?
One Word....I haven't done that for a couple of years. I should choose one this year. Hmmm......
Glad you had a wonderful Christmas!
So happy about your dad. And lasagna! On a cold night, gooey reheated lasagna would be so comforting.
