goodbye 2017

In 2017, I gained: a better perspective about my teaching.

I lost: some weight.

I stopped: buying candy for home.

I started: getting serious about retirement funds.

I was hugely satisfied by: the family party I planned!

And frustrated by: relations with my difficult sister.

I am so embarrassed that I: didn't declutter.

Once again, I: met my reading goal!

Once again, I did not: conquer the mess.

The biggest physical difference between me last December and this December is: I can't think of anything!

The biggest psychological difference between me last December and this December is: accountability.

I loved spending time: reading and knitting.

Why did I spend even two minutes: worrying?

I should have spent more time: spending time with Dad.

I regret buying: some clothes I didn't need.

I will never regret buying Dad's birthday cake even though with that money I could have paid for more family meals.

I didn’t exercise enough.

Political ranting drove me crazy.

The most relaxing place I went was Chebague Island.

Why did I go to a committee I got roped into being on? I should have said NO!

The best thing I did for someone else was videotaping Dad's bell-ringing after his last cancer treatment.

The best thing I did for myself continue with my manicures.

The best thing someone did for me thoughtful gifts!

The one thing I’d like to do again, but do it better, knit more gifts.
