It was a great day for a drive to Central Maine! I got to spend time with my oldest sister and my niece and her boyfriend. It was a quick trip. Disappointingly, though, the foliage was rather dull. We've had a bit of drought and I suspect that will affect the colors. But I won't complain too much because it's September 23 and I'm still wearing shorts! I can't remember ever wearing summer clothes in late-September!
