Write about what you wanted to be when you grew up. How does it compare to what you find yourself doing?

As a kid, I never actually thought about what I wanted to be. But I did play school a lot--with friends and with stuffed animal students when my friends wouldn't play school.

I never expected myself to teach social studies--to be as in love with American history as I am. College introduced me to some fantastic professors and in depth content that hooked me.
