Tell a story about bullying. A time you witnessed it and stepped up or maybe a time you witnessed and did nothing. Or, if you haven’t had a personal experience with bullying, feel free to write a fiction piece on this topic.

As a high school teacher, I, unfortunately, see bullying frequently. I know the students are exploring social skills and learning to navigate the world. I don't cut them slack, however, I do create teachable moments. I know I have been bullied and I have bullied. I'm not proud of it but it is part of my story.

In today's social and political climate, it seems more important than ever to teach about bullying.

Well, I wish I could write a fiction story about bullying. Adults bullying each other isn't too pretty, and maybe even worse than kids.

at my husband's work there is adult posturing and I think it stems from some low self esteem. That is sad for an adult I think.

I feel for teachers in the Age of Trump. How do you credibly tell your students bullying is wrong when the man who came up with "Little Marco" and "Lyin' Ted" was rewarded with the White House?
