Ten things that make my Period 1 class happy:
1) Creating our own word-of-the-day calendar. Today is "Boogie."
2) NCAA brackets start today.
3) Dogs.
4) Starting driver's ed on Friday.
5) "Only about 65-ish days of school, the happy thought is that it is NOT 100 days. We can do this."
6) 99% chance of a snow day tomorrow--according to the Snow Day Predictor.
7) The giraffe cam.
8) Coloring.
9) Friends & family.
10) Caring adults.
