musing mondays

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• I’m currently reading…
• Up next I think I’ll read…
• I bought the following book(s) in the past week…
• I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I can’t wait to get a copy of…
• I wish I could read ___, but…
• I blogged about ____ this past week…

This week’s random question: If you could be best friends with an author, who would you choose and why?
I think JK Rowling would be a holler to be friends with--based on her writings and her Twitter.

I thought the same thing about JKR but then made a different choice: http://twobirds1blog.blogspot.ca/2017/03/musing-mondays-which-author-would-i-be.html

Oh, that's a great question! I'm not a Harry Potter reader, but I can imagine if you are, she would be fascinating. I'll have to think on my answer for a bit.

I haven't read any of her work, but I know her story and I admire her.

The two authors that spring to mind for me -- Nora Ephron and Carrie Fisher -- both died recently. And they were friends with one another. So when I get to heaven I plan on crashing their table.
