What do you most recommend to other people?

Books! Just last week I was talking with one of my classes about books and went around to make individual, personal recommendations--explaining why I chose the book, too!--for each student. Those are some of the best conversations I have with students. I also share a lot of book talk with adults. I read newsletters and blogs to get recommendations and reviews. And I try to read a lot.
