Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• I’m currently reading…
• Up next I think I’ll read…
• I bought the following book(s) in the past week…
• I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I can’t wait to get a copy of…
• I wish I could read ___, but…
• I blogged about ____ this past week…

How do you make time for reading when you are very busy? Or how do you find a better balance between wanting to spend time reading and other commitments?

I've gotten into the habit of turning the tv off after the news and listening to a book and knitting or doing other relaxing activities. It helps me to unplug from the negativity of tv and focus on the moment. Plus, I love audiobooks!

It's a good idea to do that. I find that I often have the TV on in the background just as noise while I do other things. A book would be much more productive.
I think it'd do us all well to not only turn off the TV but also the social media sites...they are a huge timer sucker for me and can cause that negativity you mentioned.
