These look almost dangerously delicious! I'm pretty sure if I make these I'll have to make a double batch because I'll probably eat far too many myself!
They look very good! An absolute favorite recipe of mine is from the Chocolate Cake Doctor cookbook. I used to have three kids at home (two have flown the nest), but when they were young I didn't have time to pull together a homemade cake, but I found the cake Dr. cakes based on a cake mix, then add lots of good things, just perfect. While my family likes frosting, I like this with a chocolate ganache spread on top (heat a cup of whipping cream to just under boiling and add a cup of chocolate chips, let sit a few moments for chocolate to melt, stir till silky looking, pour over cake) or melt 2 cups chocolate chips, add a dollop of sour cream to temper, stir, then add everything into 2 cups sour cream, whip. Amazing frosting. So here's an old post with my cake recipe http://sweettobe.blogspot.com/2016/04/decadent-chocolate-pound-cake.html
I could do this!
Dangerously delicious and way too easy to make and eat all day, as in snatch one and stuff it in one's mouth and keep reading on the bed. lol
