My mom used to put out pickles and olives, too!
Nobody likes green bean casserole. Why do people make it, then? I make it once or twice a year and that's about it, just for something different to do with a green bean.
First Grandmother, then Mother, and then I put out small elongated relish plates full of carrot and celery sticks, olives and little pickles of onion, tiny dills and sweet pickles.
If I'd been thinking, CountryDew is right, hardly anyone seems to like green bean casserole and it's my least favorite. I swear I will not post so late at night anymore!

I would love to see the parade in person, too. I'm a bit torn, though, about which to put on the bucket list...Macy's or the Rose parade.
