ten things tuesday

Linking up with Ten On Tuesday this week.

This week's topic is Ten Things You Did This Weekend.

1) A Breakfast Club friend and I went on a leisurely drive to Grand Isle, Maine, to meet up for breakfast.

2) We ate at Misty Meadows Organic Farm and the food was amazing.

3) Sunday, my bestie and I got together for lunch.

4) We also went to see the movie, Florence Foster Jenkins. I loved it!

5) I finished listening to A Man Called Ove, which was a re-read, for my book group on Friday.

6) I finished knitting a shawl I've been working on as a Christmas gift.

7) I binged watched Stranger Things. The whole series. I loved it!!

8) I knit a dishcloth which is going to be a gift--along with a handmade soap.

9) I did some Christmas shopping. I know, I know.

10) I got to be friends with a pot bellied pig named Princess--she loves a good scratch!

Sounds like a very busy weekend. Do you make your own soap too?

Yeah, we don't want to hear about your Christmas shopping, lol! However, if you are anything like me, you will buy something now, feel like you are making progress, and the next thing you know, it will be December and you haven't done any more Christmas shopping. Hopefully, that won't be the case.

Ove... oh how I love him! I think I need to listen to him, I read it this summer. But, you now are the second person to have listened to him and I could do with a good dose of Ove!

So glad you enjoyed Florence Foster Jenkins. I came away so impressed by Hugh Grant. Now that he's older, and isn't relying so much on boyishness, he can be very commanding onscreen.
