What famous or fictional person/character did you admire as a child?
I was a major fan of both Laura Ingalls Wilder and Helen Keller. I had read the Little House books and was completely fascinated by life on the prairie. I also read a biography of Helen Keller and couldn't believe how remarkable she was.

I am fascinated by Helen Keller. I have only read facts and her quotes! :)
I forgot Helen Keller! She fascinated me, too. After seeing The Miracle Worker on TV, I used to blindfold myself and wander around the backyard. I wondered what her dark and silent was like.
