All things being equal (money, space, etc), would you rather own copies of the books you read? Or borrow them? From the archives.
Before I had my Nook, I would have said borrow, because I don't have a lot of shelf space. Now that I have an e-reader, I buy! I love owning books that I can carry around with me always.
