This is the dog. Maggie. She is my parents' dog. She does not know she is a dog. Don't be fooled by the sweet face--behind it lurks a beast. A spoiled, rotten beast. A furry tyrant. And I adore her.
So, references to "The Dog" are of this beast. When my parents are out of town, I stay with her and adjust to her queenly schedule.
