musing mondays

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• I’m currently reading…
• Up next I think I’ll read…
• I bought the following book(s) in the past week…
• I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I can’t wait to get a copy of…
• I wish I could read ___, but…
• I blogged about ____ this past week…

This week’s random question: Make a plea for your favorite book.

My favorite book this year is Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. It spans decades from the pandemic which ends civilization as we know it, to the new world order; it's not a doomsday story. I couldn't put it down.

I haven't been able to get into these kinds of books yet. But it seems that more and more of the books I am finding have something to do with a new world order!!

Hmm, I may have to rethink this one...I had always steered clear of it, thinking it was about Doomsday...I try to avoid anything too depressing!

Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

I've seen Station Eleven before, and I kind of want to read it. Thanks for the reminder. :-)
