ten things tuesday

Linking up with Ten On Tuesday this week.

This week's topic is 10 Words You Use As Substitutes for Swear Words for those times when it's not appropriate to swear.

Since I started teaching, I've curbed my use of cuss words--basically retraining myself. I don't think I have ten but here goes:

1) Shoot!

2) Oh no!

3) Poop!

4) Booger!

5) Booger-picker (if I am name-calling)

6) Goober or Goob (if I am name-calling)

7) Crap!

8) I catch myself getting angry or frustrated and bring myself back to center by saying, "Peace."

And that's really all that comes to mind. I say # 1 and 2 the most.
