ten things tuesday

Linking up with Ten On Tuesday this week.

This week's topic is 10 Things On Your Summer 2015 Bucket List.

1) Have a great visit with my Virginia Sister and her family. I'd like to do something special and one-on-one with both of the girls.

2) Go to the Whoopie Pie Festival for the third year.

3) Spend quality time with Maggie. Dog kisses make me happy.

4) Knit 8 hats. I'd like to have at least a dozen hats done for Planet Head Day 2016.

5) Plan my Christmas knitting so I have plenty of time to get yarn and complete projects.

6) Read.

7) Reconnect with my friends--we've all been so busy!

8) Help my niece get her license. She needs 5 night driving hours and 20 day driving hours.

9) Nap. That helps me rejuvenate. And I'm going to need all the rejuvenation I can get heading into next school year.

10) Epic road trip adventures to nowhere! I'm going to pack a travel bag and stow it in the car so I can go when the whim hits.

Love your summer list. Naps are essential on some days. I just took a nap on the porch with my kitten.
I want to stay on weight watchers all summer. I have lost 18lbs since mar 1 and I want to keep going.
I DO not want to gain any of it back!
Knit knit knit I want to knit more mittens for donation, a baby blanket and perhaps a modular sweater that someone else can finish

Love love love this list. Naps? I'm there. Epic road trips? Wish I was there (hubby hates them). Sounds like you've got a great plan for a cool summer!

Whoopie pies? Why, yes! I had a carrot cake pie with a cinammony crust and your post made me relive every delicious moment.

I have an Amtrak fantasy similar to your proposed road trip. I show up at Union Station and buy a ticket on the train out. I've never done it, though. So I bow to you, Ms. Kwiz.
