musing mondays

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• I’m currently reading…
• Up next I think I’ll read…
• I bought the following book(s) in the past week…
• I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
• I can’t wait to get a copy of…
• I wish I could read ___, but…
• I blogged about ____ this past week…

This week’s random question: How often do you use your local library? Are you happy with their availability?

I don't use my local library nearly as much as I used to, since I entered the world of the e-reader. I do use their virtual library to side-load books onto my Nook, but I buy books more often than not. The local library is fantastic as a facility and is constantly updating the stacks. I feel guilty that I don't use the books more often.

The ease of book buying has led to my using the library less...I do occasionally, and I also donate my books when I'm purging.

Thanks for sharing, and here are my BLUE MONDAYS MUSINGS

I wish I went as often as I used to, but nowadays it is very easy to buy books electronically and not have to wait for the latest releases.

I just don't visit the library as much as I used to because of how many books I have at home that I haven't gotten around to reading yet. But I still like libraries, I think they're great.

I have yet to learn much about side-loading. My problem with borrowing books is that I might not finish them in time and then "poof" they are gone. I love the library, but I don't visit much anymore either.
