brings out the kid in me...

So, I've been yapping lately about wanting to do something fabulously fun for my 50th birthday in October. I was talking with one of my classes about it and we came up with going on a cruise. Or going to Hawaii. And I was thinking about spending the vacation time with people who mean the most--my sisters. I texted Virginia sister and she wasn't too hip on a cruise. She suggested Disney World. And so I texted Pennsylvania sister and asked her if she would be game. They're both game. I messaged my local sister but haven't heard back from her yet. I'm thinking a Disney sister trip would be a blast! I've even started looking up some grown up activities to do there. We shall see where this goes. I have never been to Disney. It's on my bucket list, though.

Well, you will only be 45 minutes from me!! I can suggest several grown-up things to check out here in Lakeland FL....including a visit to the museum where I work! Meet and greet.... Keep us posted! Disney is great fun!

There are many, many things that adults can do. In fact I think most adults enjoy it more than the kids. We took Darian and Harley in 2011 and spent 10 days. It was awesome. I loved all of the parks but Animal Kingdom was my least favorite. If you only get to pick one then I wouldn't miss Epcot! To me it is the best.

Super fun for your fiftieth, with your sibs, AND it's a check off your bucket list? Win-win!

Oh, you simply MUST do this! It's not a kid-centric thing at all. The park is too vast for that. Do it, do it, do it! Everyone should see a Magic Kingdom at least once, and your 50th is the ideal event.
