6 more weeks of winter

And we're having yet another winter storm here in Maine--this time only 4-6 inches of snow. But it was thirty-two degrees BELOW zero this morning.

ETA: one of my colleagues sent this to me:

The Gal Herself said...: The Brookfield Zoo, where our local groundhog lives, was closed for the first time in years because we got 18" of snow in the space of 24 hours. Therefore he cannot prognosticate. Not that any soothsaying is required.
