Do other people in your family also like to read? Or are you in this on your own?

I'm excited to share books with my family! We share all types of titles. We're almost like a book club in how we pass titles back and forth. Since almost all of us have e-readers, it's not quite as much fun as putting together a box of books to ship off to my VA or PA sisters, but we still share titles. And we all know that a Barnes & Noble gift card is the easiest gift!

I share my Young Adult finds with my nieces and they hook me up with some interesting titles, too. They got me to read the whole Harry Potter series--I had read the first book when it came out and just sort of let the others slide until my youngest niece discovered them and we read them together. My local sister is a mystery fan, so it's fun to share a new series with her. Both VA and PA sisters like current fiction--so we frequently trade titles. My stepmother reads contemporary literature and has suggested some amazing titles to me. My dad likes poetry and although I haven't made a suggestion to him, he's guided me to some wonderful poets.

That is so cool to share book titles with your family. I came from a family of non-readers. It would be cool to be your sister

You're lucky! We don't really share books in my family. I might pass along a recommendation to my mom or sister... but that's about it.
