Too Close

1) This song is about a friendship that turned romantic ... and it doesn't end happily. Have you ever crossed that line with a friend? If so, how did it work out? disastrous romance but still friends

2) When he was a kid, this week's singer, Alex Clare, listened to his dad's Stevie Wonder records. When you were in 7th/8th grades, what music were you into? I was listening to disco music because that's what my sisters had for music, until I got the Grease soundtrack and wore that out

3) "Too Close" has been featured on the TV show, The Vampire Diaries. Do you enjoy shows/books/movies about the supernatural? yes, although I am not obsessed with them, I find them entertaining...

4) Some of Alex Clare's tour dates were sponsored by Bud Light. Do you like beer? occasionally

5) Mr. Clare trained to be a chef, just in case the music thing didn't work out. Are you a good cook? when I cook, I am a very good cook

6) Crazy Sam is forever running out of mayo because she slathers it on her sandwiches. What is currently on your grocery list? yogurt, granola bars, Parmesan cheese, and orange juice, oh, and crackers for my desk at school

7) Where are you most likely to find spare change -- between the sofa cushions, in your jeans as you toss them into the washer, or under the floor mat of your car? floor mat of my car

8) How did you spend your Friday night -- working late, hanging out with friends, or just enjoying a quiet night at home? I was watching season 6 of True Blood and knitting

9) Do you use Pinterest? oh, yes! I love Pinterest!!!

You're the second junior high school Grease fan I've encountered today.

Yep--that Grease soundtrack was great! And I'll still stop and watch if I happen upon the movie as I'm flipping through the channels.

Years ago our neighbors took Disco lessons and we always knew when they were practicing from the heavy base beat that made it over to our house.

I love the grated Parmesan cheese from Sams Club. I'll bake it alone sometimes. YUM!

My friend bought me a book on how to knit and some needles and yard yesterday. I am looking forward to figuring it out.

Yay! Another knitter! Too many people regard it as boring. I'm in the middle of knitting a big black spider for my son-in-law! What's boring about that...??!!
