Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…
• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying about it.
• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!
• Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!
• Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

I'm currently finishing up The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert. It's an amazing story spanning the 18th and 19th centuries. It clocks in at over 500 pages and it hasn't lagged. I haven't been able to put it down. I had no idea that moss and botany could be so engrossing.

That's quite a doorstopper of a book! It's been awhile since I've read anything that daunting--and I don't know that I've ever read a book featuring moss! :-)
hmm... pitching a book about moss and botany must have been quite hard for the publishers although I'm guessing there is more to it than that. It is great when you really get into a book!
I love books about that time period. I'll look this one up. I don't mind long books if it's a good one.
I think I might have to give it a try.
